the photovoltaic solar tile

Little known, the photovoltaic solar tile steps into the limelight.
Aesthetic and ecological, 20 m2 of tiles can produce enough power to heat a house for a family of 4.

The photovoltaic tile offers the same sealing qualities as the classic tile.
Installation poses no particular problem: the junction occurs in the same way as for traditional tiles, by fitting them together.
There are many different models of solar tile available (half-round or Roman solar tiles, méridionales (southern), alpha 10, HP10, PV10, etc.) and they can be associated with any usual tile.

How does it work?

The crystalline silicium contained in the photovoltaic cells of the tiles transforms sunlight into direct current. The production is injected in the system thanks to 2 meters.
If you produce more than you use, EDF (French electrical company) buys back your electricity.
If you produce less than you consume, EDF automatically supplies you with the power you are missing.

Tax incentives

Purchasing solar tiles makes you eligible for a 50% tax credit.
Local financial assistance exists as well, depending on the region.
