Statement of natural and technological risks survey

Mandatory since 01.06.2006, anyone selling or renting a property must produce a statement of natural and technological risks as well as a copy of any notice of claim, if applicable, for which they were indemnified since 1982.

The ERNT is valid:

  • for 6 months in case of a real estate sale
  • for the entire term of the contract and its renewal in case of a rental

The survey must list the natural (earthquake, drought, flood, etc.) and technological (chemical, industrial, etc.) risks to which the property is exposed.

If this document is not produced, the sale could be cancelled, or the rent reduced in case of a rental.
